The Club at Chatham Hills’ short game area offers members a dynamic practice experience designed with the help of Phil Mickelson’s design team, known for world-class projects including Whisper Rock in Arizona and Mickelson National in Canada.
Inspired by Pete Dye’s distinctive design philosophy, the short game area blends strategic creativity, dramatic shaping and playability into the landscape surrounding the clubhouse. The facility features an enhanced upper putting green, an elongated lower chipping and putting complex connected directly to the range tee, and a series of Pete Dye-inspired linear chipping greens and bunkers that create multiple practice “pockets.”
Designed for both serious practice and enjoyment, the area offers a wide variety of shots and short-game scenarios while preserving the property’s sledding hill and creating social-style practice opportunities visible from the clubhouse patio.
The result is a world-class golf amenity that complements Pete Dye’s championship course and further elevates the golf experience at Chatham Hills.
