Legendary courses architecturally designed by Pete Dye Nestled in tree-adorned rolling hills and surrounded by breathtaking views, the Club at Chatham Hills boasts two challenging, yet fun, golf courses. Although our 18- hole Championship course and 9-hole Executive course offer distinctly different tests of golf, both feature scenic countryside views and an enjoyable setting for players of all skill levels. Designed by the world-renowned architect Pete Dye, the Championship course at Chatham Hills is the main attraction. It blends challenging golf with the beauty of the surrounding landscape, including rolling hills, wooded areas, and water features. The routing takes advantage of the natural topography which provides not only a challenging game but also a visually stunning environment. |
The Club at Chatham Hills was designed to be a championship test. This is evident in the Pete Dye Designed par 72, 7,334-yard routing that effortlessly winds through the rolling hills of the property. Dye once said, "Golf is not a fair game, so why should I make a course that is fair." That philosophy reigns true at Chatham Hills but like any elegant design, you will find that there are also scoring opportunities throughout. After opening in 2014, Chatham Hills quickly established a presence in the Indiana golf community.
Chatham Hills is ranked 13th in the state and has been recognized as a top track since 2021.
Pete Dye's Final Masterpiece
The Club at Chatham Hills is the last golf course the Pete Dye ever designed and constructed on site. He spent hundreds of hours in Westfield and hit the honorary first tee shot along with his wife, Alice, who also had a hand in all of his designs. In his 40+ trips to Chatham Hills, our team became close with Pete, Alice, and his beloved dog, Sixty. Dye is synonymous with the region, having laid out many designs around the region but Chatham Hills was one of his favorites. Pete worked to establish different aesthetic and strategic themes at his courses in the area. Many fond memories were created throughout the construction of Chatham Hills and his legacy will always be preserved in Westfield. |
